Hintergrundinformation – Definition nicht-formales Lernen Non-formal education: learning outside institutional contexts (out-of-school) is the key activity, but also key competence of the youth field. Non-formal learning in youth activities is structured, based on learning objectives, learning time and specific learning support and it is intentional. For that reason one could also speak of non-formal education. It typically does not lead to certification, but in an increasing number of cases, certificates are delivered. Hintergrundinformation - Themen der Entwicklungsphase  Youthpass wurde im internationalen Kontext entwickelt. Youthpass ist eine Maßnahme zur Validierung von Lernerfahrungen. Lernen im Programme JUGEND IN AKTION wird anerkannt durch Youthpass. Lernen in JUGEND IN AKTION ist nicht-formales Lernen. Youthpass bezieht sich auf Aktivitäten des Programms JUGEND IN AKTION .

Hintergrundinformation - Umsetzungsprinzipien Jeder Teilnehmende an einer Aktivität der Aktionen 1.1, 2 und 4.3 hat das individuelle Recht einen Youthpass zu erhalten. Die Verantwortung, Youthpass zu implementieren, zu generieren und auszugeben liegt bei den Organisationen. Nationalagenturen bieten Unterstützung in verschiedener Form (Zugang zum Link, Informationen, Trainingsangebote…).

Key Competences), Pädagogischer Einbindung, Einschätzung der FW und des 1. und 2. Sektors

2. Youthpass in Aktion 2 – Europäischer Freiwilligendienst Volunteers perspective Most important Key Competences are 1. Social and civic competence, 2. Learning to learn and 3. Communication in mother or foreign tongue. Prefer simple design and most of the volunteers want to use it for future life. Organisations Perspective Most important Key Competences are 1. Learning to learn, 2. Social and civic competence and 3. Cultural awareness and expression and Communication in mother or foreign tongue. Length of the description and use of language is in several ways a challenge.

2. Youthpass in Aktion 4.3 – Trainingskurse Results from test phase – Action 4.3 Organisations from DE, FR, IT, PL, and the UK supported test phase – 10/06 – 12/06. Ca. 40 organisations generated and issued ca. 400 Certificates. Recommendation from subgroup who accompanied the test phase Implementation should be foreseen as soon as possible for training courses and not for seminars. The structure of the Youthpass-Certificate will be the same like in Action 2.
