ClosureFAST Study Design and Five-Year Results - prospective, multi-center study enrolled 225 patients and treated 295 limbs in eigth centers in Europe from April 2006 to June 2007. excellent early results with initial occlusion rate of 99% and with less side effects duplex ultrasound imaging and clinical examination at three days, three month, six month and in yearly intervalls up to five years full occlusion in 92% (vs.98% at one year ), the vast majority of patients ( 95% )- free of path.venous reflux VCSS and quality of life improved; CEAP classif. too
