Comparative: How to form it  We use the normal adjectives we know but we need to affix a suffix of –er to the adjective  kleinkleiner  gröβgröβer  reichreicher  schnellschneller

Superlative  The Superlative describes the degree of difference between people or objects  Frank is smaller than Sam  Frank is the smallest

Superlative: How to form it  In English the superlative is formed with –est but in German the suffix –st plus any adjective ending is used  kleindie/der/das kleinste  reichdie/der/das reichste  schnelldie/der/das schnellste
