1- Overview powered by electricity rather than fuel don’t produce any CO2 emissions. CO2 contributes to the Greenhouse Effect The Greenhouse Effect is when the atmosphere traps heat

2- Why is there a push for Electric cars? limited amount of petroleum available gas prices rise cars and trucks currently add up to 25% of the world’s CO2 emissions greater awareness about the effects of CO2 President Obama’s Climate Action

3- How they work and the Science behind them Electric cars work by replacing a combustion engine with an electric motor Electric motors work with lithium batteries (Li-lon)

4- Incentives to buy an electric car federal tax credit in several country’s to afford an electric powered car Some company’s even make discounts Charging stations Gas is expensive

5- Arguments against Electric Cars too expensive  Counter: Nothings spent on gas  Government subsidizing Electric Bills will go way up  Counter Arguments: On average, only an extra $350 per year will be spent on electricity, while saving an average $1400 that would be spent on fuel

6- Arguments against Electric cars too short range  Counter Argument: Average US driving distance  Longer trips can be accomplished using charging station, which is an opportunity for a break which is anyway necessary not realistic  Counter Argument: Significant improvements are made each year. For example, electric cars can now be charged directly from solar panels.

7- The Future of Electric cars give power back to the grid (ins Stromnetz) goal to release millions of electric cars on their roads by 2025 make it easier to construct new charging stations zero emissions vehicles for public fleets promote zero-emissions vehicles common standards for charging networks create more efficient and lighter batteries

Finial summary decrise the World‘s CO2 emissions getting more and more affordable each year, motors are powered by renewable energy which electricity rather than fuel which is soon depleted
