Seit 2005 Professor für Kommunikation und Sicherheit an der Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil (HSR) Lehre: „Informationssicherheit“ und „Computernetze“ Leiter des Instituts für Internet Technologien und Anwendungen (ITA) Forschung und Entwicklung auf dem Gebiet der Netzwerksicherheit 1982 Diplom als Elektro-Ingenieur ETH 1991 Doktorat am Institut für Signal- und Informationsverarbeitung der ETH Zürich auf dem Gebiet der digitalen Signalverarbeitung Entwicklungsingenieur bei der Siemens Schweiz AG, zuletzt als Leiter der Entwicklungsabteilung „Wireless Systems“ Professor für Kommunikation und Sicherheit an der ZHW Maintainer des strongSwan Open Source VPN Projekts für Linux/Android/FreeBSD/Mac OS X
