An empowerment strategy“ Begründung Die EU könne sich eine Verschwendung des „jugendlichen Humankapitals“, insbesondere in Zeiten des demographischen Wandels, nicht mehr leisten. Investitionen in die Jugend meint Investition in Bildung, Gesundheit, etc.. Die europäische Jugend von heute muss zuerst in der Lage sein, ihr Humankapital voll zu entwickeln und dieses Kapital auch an die eigenen Kinder weiterzugeben. Reasons The European Union can‘t afford the waste of human capital among the young, especially because of the demographic trends. Investing in youth means investing in education, health, etc.. European Youth of today must above all develop their human capital and be in a position to help their children develop their own human capital

BEPA: „Investing in Youth“ – Bewertung / review negativ(e)  Ideologie: Jugend wird in erster Linie als „Human-Kapital“ beschrieben, das möglichst umfassend (für die Wirtschaft) genutzt werden sollte. Das meint eine Ökonomisierung aller Lebensbereiche. Selbst Sport/Freizeit oder Essgewohnheiten werden in erster Linie im Hinblick auf Kosten/Nutzen der Gesellschaft/Wirtschaft betrachtet. → Lissabon-Prozess Ideologie: Youth is predominantly described as human capital, which should be of use for the economy as much as possible. That means a marketisation of all areas of live. Even sport/free time or eating habits are just reflected as for the costs/profit for society/economy. →Lisbon Process
