Solidarity between generations Active ageing and Solidarity between generations and bia-net EU Year 2012: Older people should keep playing an active role in society Older people should live as healthy and fulfilling lives as possible Older people should stay in the workforce and share their experiences Seeing ageing and the demographic change as a chance! Getting older is not a threat but an achievement for people and for the society
Solidarity between generations Active ageing and Solidarity between generations and bia-net Intergenerational approach: younger and older people can learn from each other, both generations can benefit from each other Active ageing: Older people participate in the society, at least we should give them the chance for doing that Older people as volunteers (also in family life) BUT: let the older people decide by themselves what kind of life they want and if and how they contribute to the society!
