Was soll ich tun? (What should I do?) Using this family tree template, create your family tree. You are in the middle at the bottom of the tree. Some ideas: You could draw a picture of them Cut out a picture and put them in the boxes Download a picture and put it in the boxes on the computer Do whatever you want to do, but put some sort of image in the boxes.

Wenn du willst… (If you want…) You could write a couple of stences about each member you put on. Use the following slides to help you do so.

Meine Familie Hier/da ist meine Mutter. Sie heisst…. Hier/da ist meinen Vater. Er heisst…. Hier/da ist meine Tante. Sie heisst…. Hier/da sind meine (Großeltern). Sie heissen….

Woher kommen sie? (Where do they come from?) Mein Vater/Meine Mutter kommt aus Deutschland/England/Schottland. Meine Großeltern kommt aus Österreich/Frankreich/Spanien.

Nächste Woche… (next week) Next week we’re going to learn how to answer the question ‘Woher kommst du’ (previous slide) as well as the colours, as we’ll be describing flags. In order to prepare for this, can both of you please print off the flag of the country you come from. Since both of you have German parents, could you also print off the German Flag?
