General facts Structure, type and size of organisation: The Private University College belongs to the Diocese of Linz – the catholic church – and educates about 700 teacher trainees a year. Position in national/regional/local educational landscape: Every year about 120 students complete their studies and teach in most of the Upper Austrian primary and secondary modern schools. Mission and main areas of activity: Teacher training in a private organisation which also includes in- service training for teachers as well as academically certified courses and Master‘s degrees History: The Private University College was founded in 1946 as private academy and acquired the legal status as University College in 2007. EU projects: Lingua: Europe Ensemble; Comenius 1,2: developing the best e-learning practices for primary schools; Comenius: C.H.A.N.G.E. – Challenges to a New Generative Environment in School Practice Training

Pedagogical knowledge and teaching methodology. Implication of e-learning and blendend learning.

Motivation for participation
A close collaboration with Education Highway convinced us of these project. One major ambition is the inclusion of pedagogical and methodological features in the programme.
