3 Auftrag - Mandate „Die Kirche ist die beste Reklame für das Evangelium. Sie ist das Herzstück seiner Absicht, nämlich sein Instrument in der Welt zu sein. „The church is the greatest advertisement for the Gospel. It is at the heart of God‘s purpose, God‘s agent in the World“ „Die Kirche ist der größte Stolperstein für Menschen die auf der Suche nach Jesus sind. „The Church is the biggest stumbling block for people to come to Christ.“ Welches Zitat ist richtig- keines oder alle beide? 4 Auftrag - Mandate Am Anfang war Einheit- 1.Mose 1 „ Gott sprach – Laßt uns Menschen machen...das uns gleich ist In the beginning was unity - Gen.1 „God said – let us make man in our image Die Kraft der Einheit – 1.Mose 11 Sie sprachen „ Lasst uns eine Stadt und einen Turm bauen“ Sie sind ein Volk mit einer Sprache....durch ihren vereinten Willen wird ihnen von jetzt an jedes Vorhaben gelingen! The Power of unity – Gen.11 Then they said, "Come, let us build …. "If as one people speaking …nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them!”

Abraham – „Alle Völker der Erde sollen durch dich gesegnet werden“ Abraham – „all peoples on earth will be blessed through you “ 5.Mose 4:5-8 „ So haltet nun alle Gebote ….denn werden die anderen Völker sehen wie weise und verständig ihr seid“ Deut „Observe them carefully…this will show to the nations..“ ( Lev.19:17+18 a.33+34) Gottes Interesse an Menschen von anderen Völkern Rahab, Ruth, Naaman, Witwe bei Elia, Daniel und seine Freunde in Babel God‘s concern about people from other nations Rahab, Ruth, Naaman, Widow from Zarepath of Sidon, Daniel and his friends in Babylon

7 Auftrag - Mandate NT- „Die Mischung der verschiedenen Ethnien in Galiläa reflektierte das Römische Reich. Da wo Jesus aufwuchs lebten Assyrer, Babylonier, Ägypter, Mazedonier, Perser, Römer, Syrier und einheimische Kaananiter. Zwischen diesen Juden lebten diese Heiden…und Jesus wuchs mitten in diesem multikulturellen Milieu auf und wurde beeinflußt….Die Schreiber der Evangelien wollten uns klar machen, dass Jesus in einem jüdischen Umfeld aufwuchs, das aber von den verschiedenen anderen Kulturen bereichert war. NT- ”  The diverse mix of people in Galilee reflected the demographics of much of the Roman Empire. The Galilee in which Jesus grew up included Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians, Macedonians, Persians, Romans, Syrians, and indigenous Canaanites. In the mind-set of first-century Jews, all these groups were Gentiles Jesus was raised in Galilee and influenced by this milieu  The Gospel writers wanted it to be known that Jesus was raised in an environment that maintained his own Jewish cultural and religious identity yet was enriched by the influence of various Gentile cultural elements “ from the Book: United by Faith

9 Auftrag - Mandate Das Gebet Jesus in Joh.17 ..”21auf daß sie alle eins seien, gleichwie du, Vater, in mir und ich in dir; daß auch sie in uns eins seien, auf daß die Welt glaube, du habest mich gesandt.. 22Und ich habe ihnen gegeben die Herrlichkeit, die du mir gegeben hast, daß sie eins seien, gleichwie wir eins sind,. 23ich in ihnen und du in mir, auf daß sie vollkommen seien in eins und die Welt erkenne…. Jesus‘ prayer on unity in John 17 : „that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know …” Jesus betet für Einheit auf Erden so wie es auch im Himmel ist. Jesus wants the believers to be ONE on earth as it is in heaven.

10 Auftrag - Mandate Pfingsten- Die 1. Gemeinde wuchs von 120 Galiläischen Juden zu über 3000 multikulturellen Gläubigen (incl. Araber und Afrikaner) On the day of Pentecost the Jerusalem congregation grew from 120 Galilean Jews to over 3,000 multicultural, multilingual believers. Von Beginn an drückte der Heilige Geist der Gemeinde seinen Stempel auf; von einem monoethnischen Fokus zu einem multiethnischen. Juden-Heiden, die früher Feinde waren jetzt versöhnt denn das Evangelium ist Versöhnung. The Holy Spirit right from the beginning forced the church to go beyond a monoethnic focus. The Jews who hated the Gentiles reconciled with them because reconciliation was the Gospel message.

11 Auftrag - Mandate Antiochien 3. Stadt im röm. Reich ( ) mit einer breiten Palette von Kulturen, Syrier, Römer, Griechen, Araber, Perser, Armenier…und Juden. Das Problem das die Stadt damals im 1. Jahrhundert hatte war genau das selbe das irgendeine Großstadt heute hat… Ethnische Rivalitäten und Konflikte waren heftig, ethnische Ausschreitungen waren häufig weil so viele verschiedene Gruppen auf engstem Raum zusammen lebten. “Antioch was the third largest city in the Roman Empire, with a population of nearly half a million people. A wide cultural mix of peoples including Syrians, Romans, Greeks, Arabs, Persians, Armenians, Parthians, Cappadocians, and Jews made up Antioch’s urban population. … The problems faced by Antioch in the first century rival those of any city in the world today. … Ethnic strife was intense. … Race riots were common because so many people of differing ethnic and cultural groups lived together in cramped, overcrowded conditions”

12 Auftrag - Mandate Antiochien- multi-ethnische Leiterschaft und multi-ethnische Gemeinde Antioch – multi-ethnic leadership and multi-ethnic congregation. „ Der christl. Glaube bot eine neue Basis der sozialen Gemeinschaft.“ Das war der Grund dafür, dass sie hier zuerst Christen genannt wurden – sie konnten mit keiner anderen Gruppe in Antiochien identifiziert werden. “Christianity offered a new basis for social solidarity.” This is why they were called Christians because they could not be identified with any of the fractured and separate groups in Antioch. Wenn wir EINS sind – wird die Welt das erkennen und anerkennen ( Verbindung zu Joh. 17) If you are ONE – the world will know ( connection to John 17)

13 Auftrag - Mandate Die Einheit des Glaubensbekenntnises übersteigt die Kultur (Jüdische) und mündet in die multikulturelle Verschiedenheit Gal. 3,28 „Hier ist kein Jude noch Grieche… denn ihr seid allzumal einer in Christus Jesus.” Oneness of the creed moves beyond the one culture ( Jewish Culture) into the multiculture diversity Gal. 3,28“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

14 Auftrag - Mandate Unsere wichtigste Identität finden wir nun nicht mehr länger in Rasse, Rolle oder Geschlecht. Von jetzt an teilen wir eine gemeinsame Identität. Alle sind Gottes Kinder in Jesus. Deshalb hat Rassismus, Stolz in soziale Stellungen keinen Platz in Gottes Königreich. Our primary identity is no longer found in race, role, or gender. From now on we share a common identity: All children of God in Christ. Because of this, racism, pride in social status have no place in the Kingdom of God.

15 Auftrag - Mandate Dienst der Versöhnung (2.Kor. 5:14-20) Erstens Versöhnung mit Gott ( „Liebe Gott von ganzem Herzen..“) Dann Versöhnung mit Anderen( „Lieben deinen Nächsten“ – nicht nur von der gleichen Kultur 3.Mose 19: und 33+34) Ministry of reconciliation (2.Cor. 5:14-20) First to God („Love God with all your heart..“) Then to your neighbor – not just from your own culture! – Leviticus 19:17+18 and 33+34

Das Geheimnis ist, dass die Heiden Miterben sind und mit zu einem Leib gehören zusammen mit den Juden, Mitgenossen der Verheißung in Christus Jesus. Gottes Absicht war, dass durch die Gemeinde (Kontext Multikulturell), die mannigfaltige Weisheit Gottes sichtbar gemacht werden soll den Mächten und Gewalten im Himmel Unity of the Body in Christ ( Ephesians 3) This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. His intent was that now, through the Church (multicultural context), the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms

17 Auftrag - Mandate Ein Leib – viele Glieder (1 Kor. 12)
“Denn wie der Leib einer ist und doch viele Glieder hat, alle Glieder des Leibes aber, obwohl sie viele sind, doch ein Leib sind: so auch Christus. Denn wir sind durch einen Geist alle zu einem Leib getauft, wir seien Juden oder Griechen, Sklaven oder Freie, und sind alle mit einem Geist getränkt. Denn auch der Leib ist nicht ein Glied, sondern viele.” “Das Auge kann nicht sagen zu der Hand: Ich brauche dich nicht” – Deutsche brauchen die Migranten ! One Body – Many Parts ( 1. Cor. 12) “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. “ The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" The german churches need the migrant Christians
