CURRICULUM VITAE ANDREAS MEIXNER

Born on June, 27th 1965 in Vienna, Andreas Meixner is a make-up artist for cinema and television projects. He lives with his girlfriend and his two daughters (born in 1992 and 2006) in Vienna. In the past decade he was responsible for make-up on several national and international movie projects for cinema and television. He could extinguish himself through skilled craftsmanship and creativity on several historic movie projects. During his 30 years as a make-up artist, Andreas Meixner has prepared numerous wigs and beards for large international movie productions (Die Fälscher, Perfume, Casanova,...). Before his freelance work within the film business he held several managing positions at the “Volksoper“ and the “Wiener Volkstheater” and was involved in several movie productions as a make-up artist. After high school he finished his apprenticeship to become a hairdresser and wig maker. He has always dreamed of receiving training to become a make-up artist for theatre, which he successfully completed at the “Wiener Volkstheater“. In addition, Andreas Meixner participated in several international and Austrian seminars and workshops to broaden her technical knowledge. In 2014, Andreas Meixner realised his lifelong dream of his own business and established the “Wiener Haarfundus“ in Vienna with his long-term colleague Monika Fischer-Vorauer.
