(My time-table)

Kopiere die Vokabeln in dein Heft! (copy the vocabulary into your exercise book)

DeutschEnglisch An welchem Wochentag hast du…? (On which day of the week do you have…?) On Tuesday On Monday On Wednesday On Thursday On Friday Am Montag Am Dienstag Am Mittwoch Am Donnerstag Am Freitag

DeutschEnglisch in der ersten Stunde in der zweiten Stunde in der dritten Stunde in der vierten Stunde in der fünften Stunde in the first lesson in the second lesson in the third lesson in the fourth lesson in the fifth lesson In welcher Stunde hast du…? (in which lesson do you have…?)

Now lets have a look at a sentence Ichhabe am Montag Mathe 123 Am Montag habeichMathe

Have you noticed anything…? Sentence 2 started with Am Montag In sentence 2 the subject ich and the verb habe swapped places

But why…..? This is because the VERB is always the 2 nd idea in a sentence. An idea can be a word like oft (often) or a few words like Am Montag or even a whole clause like Wenn ich Schule habe (when I have school)

Now rewrite this sentence starting with Am Dienstag Ichhabe am Dienstag Englisch 123 Am Dienstag habeichEnglisch

Now look and see what happens when you have two adverbs Ichhabe am Montag Sport 123 Am Mon- tag habeich in der ersten Stunde Sport in der ersten Stunde

Have you noticed anything…? Sentence 2 started with Am Montag again. Then came in der ersten Stunde In sentence 2 the subject ich and the verb habe swapped places

You will see a time-table on the next page. Write at least 5 sentences as in the example (Beispiel)
