3 Position of adverbs As you probably know already, adverbs love verbs and always stay very close to them.

Sentence 2 started with ‘Zum Frühstück’ In sentence 2 the subject ‘ich’ and the verb ‘esse’ swapped places

6 Aber warum? This is because the VERB is always the 2nd idea in a sentence. An idea can be a word like ‘oft’ (often) or a few words like ‘Zum Frühstück’ or even a whole clause like ‘Wenn ich Zeit habe’ (when I have time)

16 Das Würfelspiel (the dice game)
Du kannst mit deinem Partner/deiner Partnerin spielen Du brauchst einen Würfel Würfel und schreibe die Nummer auf und dann mache einen Satz (throw the die and write down the number and make a sentence). Dann ist deine Partnerin dran. (then it’s your partner’s turn) Du kannst die Nummer abhaken, wenn der Satz richtig ist. (You can tick the number if the sentence is correct) Die Person, die die Nummern 1-6 am schnellsten abgehakt hat, hat gewonnen! (the person who has ticked all numbers from 1-6 fastest has won) Wenn ich Zeit habe, esse ich Toast
