1 Microsoft Cloud OS Auf dem Weg zum optimierten Rechenzentrum
Key Points: To take advantage of the vast possibilities the cloud offers, IT needs to transform the datacenter This should be done by rethinking old processes while continuing to leverage existing skills and resources Today we are going to share with you how Microsoft can help you move forward on this path and embrace all that the cloud brings to the datacenter today <Name> <Title> Microsoft Deutschland GmbH

2 Die Megatrends: Mobile & Cloud
… in 2020 hauptsächlich web-basierte oder mobile Apps in Unternehmen genutzt werden 71% der befragten Experten prognostizieren, dass … 2016: 82% der Server-Workloads werden virtuell betrieben Gesamtausgaben für IT-Services: 2020 45% Cloud Today, every area of the business, from marketing, to sales, to human resources, depends on technology. As a result, the need for IT resources is growing steadily. The move to cloud computing reflects the trend: as business requirements grow, a flexible option for keeping up with that growth is by accessing cloud capacity. We are all seeing trends that reflect the growth of cloud—the question is: how can IT build a cloud strategy that makes sense? Key Points: 71% of surveyed internet, technology and social experts predict that most work will be done via web-based or mobile applications by 2020. In 2016, 82% of server workloads will be running in virtual environments. By 2020, 45% of total IT spend will be cloud-related

3 Herausforderungen an die Infrastruktur
Verfügbarkeit & Stabilität der IT Lösungen ohne Beteiligung der IT Sicherheit & Datenschutz Limitiertes Budget Zeitdruck bei neuen Projekten Hohe Anzahl an Anforderungen Business Komplexe Infrastruktur Heterogene Infrastruktur Enterprise IT The central challenges facing IT in this new world all hinge on the increasing technology needs of the business and the rapidly changing options for meeting those needs. On the business side, we find that more users are requesting resources, and that projects have shorter and shorter lead times. Business owners are asking IT to deliver more and they’re asking IT to deliver faster. At the same time, IT has to contend with a diverse set of services that require different approaches to infrastructure—from short-lead digital promotions to bigger demands for mission-critical workloads. The bottom line for IT today is that business owners require technology for most new initiatives. For the first time, those business or application owners now also have the ability to go around IT and directly to cloud providers. IT must find a way to rapidly and efficiently map out the infrastructure requirements of new services, and then deploy those services without keeping the business waiting. And then on the infrastructure side, IT is looking at limited budgets and an increasingly complex datacenter environment. The rapid pace of innovation has created a wave of new technology for IT to evaluate and deploy, just to keep pace with the competition. Complexity and cost limit IT’s ability to keep up with demand. Let’s look at how IT is handling these challenges today. Infrastruktur

4 Die aktuelle Situation in Rechenzentren
Business- Herausforderungen Verwaltung Infrastruktur-Herausforderungen Enterprise IT Today’s datacenter has evolved significantly in the last few years—experiencing growth in size and sophistication. Virtualization has also played a significant role in the current state of datacenters, but is only a first step Increased use of management tools is another important development, letting IT do more with less But a highly virtualized infrastructure is really just a partial evolution of the old physical server model You need to think more holistically about the delivery of services to the business—and virtualization plus management alone doesn’t give you enough agility and speed Why is a highly virtualized infrastructure not enough? Virtualisierung

5 Notebooks & Smartphones
Server Netzwerke Apps Today’s datacenter Backup- Speicher Sicherheits-geräte Firewalls VPN Gateway Telefonie Router & Switches Notstrom Strom Kühlung Feuerlöschung Notebooks & Smartphones www Standorte Ihr Rechenzentrum Ihr Rechenzentrum This is the full scope of what IT needs to handle today. We talk a lot about the basic issues of managing capacity and application delivery, but there is a lot more that IT needs to worry about such as storage, firewalls, security, heating, cooling, remote access, and so on. So when you think about moving to the cloud, you have to look at how adding in cloud resources is going to make this picture better—how you can extend beyond the walls of your datacenter without creating more complexity to manage. And you also want to think specifically about a platform that allows for management of heterogeneous environments.

6 Das optimierte Rechenzentrum
Ihr Rechenzentrum When you think about moving to a hybrid cloud model, there are three things that you really have to have in order to make hybrid work. First of all, you need cloud options on demand. You need to be able to extend to the cloud when it makes sense for your business and according to your individual company’s needs. Your datacenter today is configured to meet the specific needs of your business, and your cloud solution should meet that same standard. Think about consistency across clouds, management of heterogeneous resources, and workload mobility. Next, you need to reduce cost and complexity. There’s a common misperception that moving to hybrid cloud is going to increase the burden on IT. You need to take advantage of innovation in the right way—meaning real-world solutions to old problems. And then—most importantly—you have to be able to deliver a rapid response to the business. Transforming the datacenter has to make you faster. So whatever resources you add or changes you make, that’s the standard—has it enabled IT to deliver services more rapidly? Cloud-Optionen nach Bedarf Geringere Kosten und Komplexität Schnelle Reaktion auf Anforderungen

7 Das optimierte Rechenzentrum
Ihr Rechenzentrum What does Microsoft offer? With the Microsoft product set, you can have a Datacenter without boundaries, which means that you have the ability to go beyond the resources you have on premises. You can easily access cloud resources when it makes the most sense for your business: For new applications or websites that require global scale in a snap For infrastructure that needs to scale at a moment’s notice to meet the most demanding business requirements, For storage, back-up and recovery at reduced cost And you get a consistent experience across datacenter and cloud deployments so that you can leverage existing skills when taking advantage of the new hybrid model. Expanding your options for hybrid cloud, as we recently announced, you can now take advantage of Windows Azure Infrastructure Services using the same virtual machine format as Windows Server. Then you want to be able to take advantage of Cloud innovation everywhere. At Microsoft, we work with massive scale deployments every day both internally and with some of the largest companies on the planet. As we learn from those deployments, we bring them back to you in all of our products, both in the datacenter, like Windows Server, or in the cloud, like Windows Azure. Only Microsoft has this deep expertise with the enterprise datacenter that we can combine with real-world knowledge and experience from cloud deployments. Our Global Foundation Services organization supports over one billion customers and two hundred billion businesses running on Microsoft’s Cloud Services in 76 markets worldwide. Building on this cloud experience, we are continuing to bring you amazing new things—especially in storage, networking and identity. And then really the most important piece of all, Dynamic application delivery. The goal of creating all this infrastructure is to make you faster and more agile when responding to the needs of the business. That means you need to master automation, use it wherever you can to get routine tasks out of your way. Microsoft lets you provision, deploy, monitor and manage everything—applications and infrastructure—from a consistent platform across clouds so that you can provide the best possible service to the business. Let’s look in more detail at each of these three areas. “OHNE GRENZEN” NUTZEN VON CLOUD-INNOVATION DYNAMISCHE VERTEILUNG VON ANWENDUNGEN Key Points: The first step in transforming your datacenter is to create a datacenter without boundaries.

9 Rechenzentrum “ohne Grenzen”
Speicher Netzwerk Compute Ihr Rechenzentrum Key Points: Today’s datacenter has more resources, more capacity than ever before. You can think of those resources as silos of compute, networking, and storage capacity, along with a management platform that allows visibility into infrastructure. The problem with those silos is that you don’t have enough flexibility to load balance across the business. You have to use third party tools to link up, for example, heterogeneous networking hardware. You’re limited in what you can do with storage, and that’s a rising cost for the business. Resilience is also a central issue for today’s datacenter. Allowed windows for even planned downtime are growing smaller all the time, because business needs exist 24/7, every day of the year. You need to find a way to take the resources you have today and bring them forward, while continuing to take advantage of the earlier investments.

10 Rechenzentrum “ohne Grenzen”
Speicher Speicher Netzwerk Netzwerk Compute Compute To increase flexibility, you need to start by creating a private cloud in your datacenter. The power of software transforms diverse platforms into a single entity that you can manage as a whole. Pooling resources creates an infrastructure fabric that is both more resilient and also more elastic, because you can move resources easily to accommodate spikes in demand. And with the right technologies, the private cloud becomes a mission critical platform that will give you the uptime and the performance at the low TCO that the business requires. Microsoft System Center 2012 and Windows Server 2012 offer customers the best options available for creating an infrastructure fabric in the datacenter. Microsoft’s virtualization platform is designed for the most demanding workloads. The integrated management toolset of Microsoft System Center 2012 covers the full range of management needs, from physical to virtual, from the virtual machine to the application itself. System Center 2012 also allows you to manage across heterogeneous infrastructure, so that you have a single view of the datacenter and the cloud— including management of Linux workloads and multi-hypervisor management. What are some of the successes we’re seeing with Windows Server and System Center today? Ancestry.com has 1500 VMs that run on 91 hosts.  They just switched from VMware to Hyper- V.  They’ve seen significant increases in density, in performance, and they've seen their utilization go up far beyond what it was before—up over 50 percent now on all those servers.  Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Alabama just switched from VMware and deployed a 64 node cluster on Hyper-V—that’s 8,000 virtual machines. For BCBS, that infrastructure includes the mission critical apps that they use to provide access to patient records. They won’t be using all of that capacity right away, but it gives them the resiliency and the flexibility they need. And we use our own technology internally as well. Inside of the Server and Tools business unit, where we build SQL and Windows Server and System Center, we have a shared private cloud for all of our testing and all of our qualification. The private cloud has 4,000 servers, and on any given day there are 40,000-45,000 VMs running on that cloud. That’s mission critical for the engineering teams, and it’s all based upon the same technology that you use in your datacenters. Ihr Rechenzentrum Ihre IT-Infrastruktur

11 Rechenzentrum “ohne Grenzen”
Speicher Compute Netzwerk Eine einheitliche Plattform für unternehmenskritische Anwendungen Leistung Skalierbarkeit Sicherheit Verfügbarkeit Niedrige Kosten Speicher Netzwerk Compute Key Points: With your fabric in place you can connect your datacenter to Windows Azure and / or Service Provider clouds It is this nearly infinite pool of resources that allows you respond to the needs of your business regardless of scale quickly and efficiently And regardless of where the resources are coming from, you still have the same visibility and control of those resources through the same management platform—that’s consistency across clouds. Full Speaker Notes: Once you have the pooled resources or private cloud in place in your own datacenter, you can take the next step and expand outside the datacenter—connecting to Windows Azure or a Service Provider cloud. This gives you a nearly endless set of resources to draw on as needed. The main question you need to consider is where and when to leverage public cloud resources. Think about workload mobility, workloads with unpredictable demand, or just look at where you could reduce costs with cloud resources. [continued on next slide] Ihre IT-Infrastruktur

Speicher Netzwerk Compute Windows Azure offers an ideal platform to extend your own datacenter capacity. You can easily access Azure resources when it makes the most sense for your business: new applications or websites that require global scale in a snap, infrastructure that needs to scale at a moment’s notice to meet the most demanding business requirements, cloud economics that let you reduce your on premises costs for storage, back-up and recovery. And you get consistency across clouds so that when you’re taking advantage of the new hybrid model, you’re not adding a lot of complexity to the process. In a recent IDC Cloud Survey, 60%* of customers polled said that the cloud solution provider (CSP) they work with needs to be somebody they have a trusted relationship with in order to make them their vendor of choice. In addition, ~65% also said that the CSP should be able to offer to move their cloud solution back on-premises if needed. Windows Azure Infrastructure Services using the same virtual machine format as Windows Server. Both are running WS 2012 giving you the ultimately flexibility to move your workloads where you need them. And unlike other providers, Microsoft charges you only for what you use, by the minute not the hour, and we financially back all of our SLAs. Service Provider Ihre IT-Infrastruktur

“OHNE GRENZEN” NUTZEN VON CLOUD-INNOVATION DYNAMISCHE VERTEILUNG VON ANWENDUNGEN Key Points: Now that you’ve established a basic hybrid approach, your next step in transforming your datacenter is to harness cloud innovation everywhere.

14 Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation
Microsoft betreibt eine Reihe der größten “Public Clouds” der Welt Microsoft offers real-world experience with massive scale deployments that is unmatched. Our Global Foundation Services organization supports over 1B customers and 200B businesses running on Microsoft’s Cloud Services in 76 markets worldwide. Just one example of the kind of reach we’re talking about: Office 365 is now used by more than 20% of all enterprise organizations worldwide This is learning that Microsoft uniquely possesses. And the learning we have had from these incredible cloud services, a cloud platform, are constantly being incorporated into the products we deliver for customers. Our real world experience translates directly into new features both in our datacenter products and in our cloud services. Things like the service templates in System Center mirror the approach to services in Windows Azure. Other examples include: Server core - Small footprint with server core so you do not have to worry about updating or fixing unnecessary code, meaning less churning or required reboots for the host. This is similar to how we designed the Windows Azure hypervisor where we’ve only retained (and optimized) critical code paths that are applicable to large scale cloud scenarios. Microsoft’s large scale cloud services implement hot-hot nodes in many cases so the application services can seamlessly failover in case of node failures. Analogously, Active-On technologies in Windows Server 2012 are those capabilities than can survive the failure of a key component without disrupting the service provided So as we think about “cloud innovation,” the key thing to remember is that we’re innovating in ways that have been tested in the real world.

15 Schutz von Identitäten
Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation Speicher Netzwerk Compute Let’s look at some of the areas where cloud innovation can bring the most benefit to your organization. The main concern we hear from companies about hybrid cloud is that it will increase cost or create complexity, or both. And it’s certainly true that extending outside the walls of your datacenter brings new challenges. So we’ve selected three areas where we think that innovation can really make a difference: 1) storage, where there are huge opportunities for cost reduction; 2) networking, where network virtualization is so critical to connecting across datacenters and across clouds; and 3) identity, which is really the key to making the hybrid infrastructure work for your users. 16 Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation
Speicherkosten senken und die Flexibilität erhöhen Key Points: Rethink storage to reduce cost and increase flexibility How to transition with traditional storage infrastructure to hybrid cloud and cloud-integrated storage Full Speaker Notes: Companies continue to face storage pain. Although storage cost-per-TB continues to fall, the demand for storage is growing much faster—35% annually or more. This only increases the costs to business as storage spend outpaces server spend—or IT budges—and introduces a chain of costs, and more pain. We want to provide customers with storage improvements and choices regardless of their current storage environment. We want to create strategic choices regarding cloud technologies that lead to lasting solutions. 17 Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation
Speicherkosten senken und die Flexibilität erhöhen Verbesserte Leistung Traditional Storage Environments Many companies have existing storage and technology investments that they wish to maintain in traditional, direct-attached storage, SAN-based storage and data protection infrastructure. Our offerings only improve the utility of these elements across our products, including: Windows Server integration of off-loaded data support for SAN, providing improved performance De-duplicated volumes and backup over SMB 3, offering up to 9x performance improvement We don’t want to strand businesses on old technology, nor would we require any undesired changes. Companies can continue to use existing investments in Windows Server and System Center for their storage management and disaster recovery needs within these traditional environments. 18 + Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation
Speicherkosten senken und die Flexibilität erhöhen Verbesserte Leistung Niedrigere Kosten + Cost-Effective Storage for Private Clouds Today most companies enjoy server virtualization. Whatever your hypervisor, live migration is a key capability and historically, customers have used a SAN to support that. But we’ve introduced new options for customers’ primary storage: We provide the performance and availability required to use file storage as a back-end for virtualization workloads. We’ve made this possible through a set of technologies, including: SMB 3 protocol updates that improve network file share performance New load-balanced active-active file server clusters Introducing SMB Transparent Failover for the clusters so that the servers relying on them can run uninterrupted, even in the event that a node fails Employing and managing file-based storage will be very cost-effective for many private cloud deployments. Our data protection management solution provides support for shared-nothing live migration in these environments. VMs can move freely, remaining protected while using resources efficiently. Speicherkosten senken und die Flexibilität erhöhen Verbesserte Leistung Niedrigere Kosten Elastische Kapazität + + Emerging Hybrid Cloud Storage Solutions Let’s talk about the emerging hybrid cloud storage solutions. One of the simplest ways to bring public cloud services to the datacenter is through backup. Both Windows Server and System Center Data Protection Manager provide integration with Windows Azure Backup—so that data can be protected in the public cloud. While overall storage costs continuously increase, the majority of storage needs are for tier 2 or lower-priority data, most of it infrequently accessed. This provides the opportunity to engage in new, cost-effective, public-cloud based storage. Cloud- integrated storage provides a blend of benefits that cross the boundaries of traditional storage capabilities. Our new hybrid cloud storage solution is StorSimple: Provides reliable on-site storage, with high-quality, redundant hardware Automatically tiers data based on usage pattern. Data used less frequently is moved to cost- effective, elastic cloud storage while reaming accessible on-site Performs faster disaster recovery with initial meta-data restore—pulling other data from the cloud only as needed, which is much faster than traditional full restore Because of these diverse features, workloads that fit this data usage pattern can have their primary storage, backup and DR needs met by one cost-effective solution that reduces the complexity of multi-product, multi-vendor solutions and meets all needs one-by-one. 20 Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation
Einfache Verbindung zwischen Rechenzentren und Cloud-Services Netzwerke We’ve talked about how datacenter transformation involves delivering storage, networking, and compute capacity as an elastic resource pool. Part of the challenge in holistically abstracting your datacenter resources is that the network hasn’t kept up with the advances in compute innovation. Today’s networks can be rigid due to tight coupling between your workloads and the underlying physical network hardware such as ports, switches, and routers. Network operations tend to be complex since the management interfaces to configure and provision network devices tend to be proprietary; in many cases, network configuration needs to happen on a per-device basis, making it difficult to maintain an end-to-end operational view of your network. And if you’ve ever tried to move an application from one datacenter to another, you know how cumbersome it is to reconfigure the underlying IP addresses in the process.

21 Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation
Einfache Verbindung zwischen Rechenzentren und Cloud-Services Mandantenfähigkeit Mandant Mandant Mandant Defining SDN Software-defined networking is about enabling software— rather than the hardware—to dynamically manage the network in a way that helps you better meet the requirements of your applications and workloads. This involves: •The ability to abstract your apps and workloads from the underlying physical network, which can be accomplished by virtualizing the network. Analogous to server virtualization, you need consistent abstractions that will work with your applications and workloads in a non-disruptive manner. For instance, you would need virtual abstractions for your physical network elements, such as IP addresses, switches, and load balancers. •The ability to centrally define and control policies that govern both physical and virtual networks, including traffic flow between them. •The ability to implement these network policies in a consistent manner at-scale, even as new workloads are deployed or moved around across virtualized or physical networks.

22 zwischen Rechenzentren
Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation Einfache Verbindung zwischen Rechenzentren und Cloud-Services Verbindungen zwischen Rechenzentren Mandant Mandant Mandant [Optional Technical Content] Microsoft’s approach to SDN is grounded in our experiences designing, building and operating global-scale datacenter networks for services like Windows Azure. We’re adding a thousand customers per day to Windows Azure. Many of these are enterprises who trust that Microsoft will enable them to deliver on-demand capacity to their business while ensuring secure isolation of their infrastructure and data. Secure multi-tenancy is built into Windows Azure, after all. To enable easy onboarding and workload portability, Windows Azure enables customers to bring their own IP address to our network. Windows Server 2012 delivered Hyper-V Network Virtualization that helps you abstract your apps and workloads from the physical network using virtual networks. Virtual networks provide the necessary multitenant isolation while running on a shared physical network fabric, thereby driving up resource utilization. With System Center 2012 SP1 Virtual Machine Manager, you can provision and manage virtual networks at-scale. You can define and control virtual network policies centrally and link them to your apps or workloads. When your workload is deployed or moved, the network configuration adjusts itself automatically. To seamlessly help you move your workloads within and across datacenters and clouds, we’re delivering a software gateway in Windows Server 2012 R2 that can be managed by System Center R2. If you’re in enterprise IT, this gateway will help you easily extend your datacenter boundaries to a service provider or Windows Azure, so that you can deliver hybrid infrastructure on-demand.

23 Nutzen von Cloud-Innovation
Föderierte Identitätsverbunde für Zugriffe über mehrere Clouds Ihr Rechenzentrum Service Provider For identity and access, the breakthrough is an increased ability to maintain a single identity across multiple clouds. Continuous services and connected devices present a real challenge, with users expecting more and more from IT in terms of simple and fast access to resources and data. Microsoft offers multiple options in this area, including the advances in identity management in both Windows Server 2012 Active Directory and Windows Azure Active Directory. Cloud-based identity that integrates with your existing Active Directory solution will allow tremendous flexibility in building single sign-on capabilities across your cloud deployments. This is the identity platform you know, reinvented for cloud. [Optional technical examples] In Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft has enhanced Active Directory in a number of ways: Run Active Directory at scale with support for virtualization and rapid deployment through domain controller cloning. Virtualizing Active Directory in the past has been challenging, and was fraught with potential issues when administrators used common virtualization platform management tasks such as snapshots. Active Directory has been updated to be “virtualization aware” and to respond accordingly. Leverage cloud platforms to run Windows Server Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) to reduce infrastructure on-premises. Microsoft supports running domain controllers and AD FS on Windows Azure IaaS, connected back on premises via the Azure Connect bridge, making it easier and faster for customers to connect and authenticate cloud based users, devices and applications. Developers can integrate applications for single sign-on across on-premises and cloud-based applications, providing a more productive experience for users and an easier way for customers to manage the identity of users within these applications. Windows Azure Active Directory Windows Azure Active Directory (WAAD) works fluidly with Windows Active Directory to easily extend an organization’s Active Directory into the Windows Azure cloud. Providing cloud based identity through Windows Azure AD enables customers to use WAAD as the central authentication endpoint for all users and devices outside of the corporate environment, and cloud/hybrid applications. WAAD may be the authoritative authentication directory, or the user validation and device verification can be checked through federated connections to other directories such as on-premises AD, partners or other cloud based identity repositories. Active Directory Federation Services In Windows Server 2012 R2, there are significant enhancements to ADFS including simplified deployment and management. Furthermore, organizations can federate with partners and other organizations for seamless access to shared resources, allowing administrators to authenticate users from federated organizations, and organizations can connect to SaaS applications running in Windows Azure, Office 365 and 3rd party providers, providing users with a single sign-on experience.

“OHNE GRENZEN” NUTZEN VON CLOUD-INNOVATION DYNAMISCHE VERTEILUNG VON ANWENDUNGEN Key Points: The final step to transforming your datacenter is dynamic application delivery Let’s look at how the hybrid cloud makes it easier to rapidly deliver applications to your users

25 Dynamische Verteilung von Anwendungen
Zusammenarbeit CRM Finanzen ERP LOB/Abteilungen Easier to scale The primary goal of datacenter transformation is to make it easier for IT to deliver services to the business. By pooling resources in the datacenter, and then extending into the cloud, you get a flexible and resilient platform to support any workload. This puts IT in a central business role as the strategic provider, capable of delivering high-value new services and guaranteeing the performance of those apps. So, for example, you could imagine a scenario where you might have SQL Server on premises, but run your web site in the cloud.  The marketing team decides to run a promotion on the web that involves collection of personal information on customers. For compliance reasons, you can choose to store that personal information on premises using a secure connection to the SQL Server instance. You can leverage the existing resources in your datacenter, while still taking advantage of the flexible cloud capacity for the web site. And that flexibility is important, because this type of promotion has a volatile response rate—meaning that there are traffic spikes when certain ads run during prime time.  The thing to note here is that the hybrid cloud enables greater speed and more options. You can be more agile in delivering services because you have more resources to work with. And the consistency across clouds that the Microsoft platform delivers—allowing you to manage across the datacenter and external resources—means you have maximum flexibility in choosing the right infrastructure for any given workload. Let’s look more closely at how the management tools make you faster.easier to manage Easier to respond to your users 4. automation is the key to all of those things Provisioning before deep application insight

26 Dynamische Verteilung von Anwendungen
Verschiedene Optionen zur Bereitstellung Speicher Netzwerk Compute Fachbereichs-Anwendung Fachbereichs-Anwendung Automatisierung manueller Prozesse The first rule of cloud computing is that if you want to truly deliver on the promises of cloud and make your customers happy: automate, automate, automate. At Microsoft, we see the need for automation in large-scale deployments every day. For example: In Azure we do over 50,000 networking changes a day. Imagine if that required manual changes. Imagine if even 1/10th of 1% of those changes had an error. We would then be failing to deliver on our SLA and our customers would lose confidence in us. We’ve put tools in your hands to automate on a consistent platform across clouds that are running in your datacenters, within service providers or within Azure. So what does this automation look like: You now have the ability to set deployment options so when your business user surprises you with a new application that needs to be spun up right away, they have the self service capabilities through your set options to have their application up and running instantly If someone forgot to mention a 50x increase in traffic due to a promotion in the marketing department—no worries, it has been deployed on your fabric that can scale to Azure or to a service provider cloud if necessary And should something go wrong, System Center gives you the deep application insights you need to fix it right away. You can look at application performance down to the individual line of code. And you can automate responses to particular types of alerts. Because this automation and management covers the full application lifecycle, you have maximum control over the process. You can meet high SLAs from the business, reduce the load on IT created by repetitive processes, and deliver everything at maximum speed. That’s the reality of management consistency across clouds.
