2 2 A closer look at colors Colors in NetLogo are really numbers. Names like YELLOW are only shorthands.

3 3 a closer look at color spaces reveals that there is always a transformation from the total color space to the model displayed. color spaces are effectively a method of transforming the notion of converting the visible light spectrum to a form intended for artists and users.

6 6 SUMMING UP there is always a transformation color space  display model  use approximate-hsb approximate-rgb reporter in netlogo. ie. approximate-hsbapproximate-rgb approximate-rgb 0 0 0 ;  0 approximate-rgb 0 255 255  85.2 approximate-hsb 127.5 255 255  85.2 (cyan) (probably not so important but) you can also convert the image in photoshop, go Image > Mode > CMYK/HSB/RGB/Indexed

7 7 Today‘s Program 1.create a netlogo model with hospitals and population 2.use hospitals to treat population 1.population from map (density in each patch) 2.population growth algorithmic (fertility and mortality, with age classes not being influential) 3.assume X percent of population has need for treatment, but Y percent of population have acces (Y < X) visulaize as hospital size [according to treatment capacity and need!] 3.output plot!
