425 Handschriften aus den wichtigsten Abteien und bischöflichen Schulen des Karolingerreiches, darunter die Reichenau, Saint-Denis, Corbie, Reims, Saint-Amand, Freising und Weißenburg. Bibliothek Karls V. und dessen Familie (14.Jh.) 163 Handschriften, darunter einige Handschriften aus den Bibliotheken der Brüder des Königs – Johanns, des Herzogs von Berry und Ludwigs von Orléans. Bibliothek der aragonesischen Könige in Neapel (15.Jh.) 282 Handschriften, mit Meisterwerken der französischen, venezianischen, neapolitanischen, lombardischen und spanischen Illuminationskunst. State of the art of metadata Welche Standards und Normdaten gibt es? Catalogue requirements for metadata Was muss mindestens katalogisiert werden? Vademecum for librarians Wie werden die Angaben in den verschiedenen Formaten kodiert? Attractive guidelines Was bietet das Projekt und wie kann man die Ressourcen nutzen? D2.1 State of the art of metadata standards for descriptive metadata (EAD, TEI, MARC21, ManuMed) and resource discovery (DC, ESE) collections of norm data, such as authority files (VIAF, GND, LCSH, TGN) or ontologies (IC, AAT, Vocab. Herzog August Bibliothek: Butzmann-Katalog (1964) --> XML- Dokument gemäß WDB-Standards PND-Nummer (Personennamendatei - Überführung in GND läuft) und TGN-Nummer (Thesaurus Geographic Names / Getty). Verlinkung (Folio + Images / Literatur + OPAC/ Handschriften). ToDo: Überarbeitung der Katalogisate und Bereitstellung struktureller Metadaten. 11 Das Europeana-Portal (2005 gegründet) ist seit online und befindet sich aktuell in einer Erneuerungsphase. Vision von Europeana: „Kulturgüter aller Mitgliedsstaaten der Europäischen Union weltweit frei zugänglich machen“. Daten-Integration in Europeana geschieht durch The European Library (TEL). Vision von TEL: „The European Library stellt einen gleichberechtigten Zugang zu den Beständen der europäischen (National-) Bibliotheken zur Förderung der weltweiten Wahrnehmung des Reichtums und der Vielfalt der europäischen Wissenschaft und Kultur bereit.“ Die Herzog August Bibliothek schickt (noch) Dateien per - Anhang an TEL. Die Transformation in das aktuelle TEL- bzw. Europeana-Format wird kooperativ realisiert (XSL- Transformation).
