The existing runway system allows: 43 departures or 43 arrivals or 72 flight movements per hour The capacity equals 1.6 runways.

Without increasing the capacities: by 2007 latest amount of arrivals will exceed the existing capacity during peak hours (increasing amount of delays). by 2010 latest the total volume of traffic will fall below existing quality standards.
