All the complaints you have come across have been made in the Present Tense. Sometimes, however, you might want to use the Imperfect or Present Perfect Tenses (past tenses) – say you are writing a letter to the hotel you stayed in and you want to moan about all the things that went wrong! On the next slide is a summary of making a complaint in the Present Tense and in the Past Tenses
