The perfect tense

The perfect tense To talk about things you did in the past in German you need: to use a form of haben e.g. Ich habe… to add ge- before the stem of the verb to add either –t or –en after the stem of the verb haben takes the position of the verb the perfect tense form of the verb (past participle) goes to the end of the sentence.
