(registered association) The Federal Society of Immigrant Associations in Germany was founded on 14/12/1985 after a conference of the Caritas (german catholic welfare organisation). One major topic of the conference was native-language education and this was also the starting point of our organisation. We are a so-called migrants self-organisation and a lobby-group for migrants rights in Germany.
