Frage Over five million Jews were killed in Europe between 1939 and 1945 by the Nazi regime.[1] How was it possible that millions of Germans ignored the situation or even worse, helped with the extermination? In the 1920’s the Nazi party was just one of many political parties and in the late 20’s it only received 2.6% of the national vote. Hitler, however, brought the party recognition and power in the 1930’s. During Hitler’s reign there was little protest or revolt.[2] How were so many minds changed and ideas persuaded?
