Imperative The Imperative is the same as the Command form.

The imperative form is only used with the 2nd person (singular and plural): du, Sie, ihr and with the 1st person plural: Wir

Trinken wir auf eurem Wohl! Let’s drink to your health! When the imperative is used with the 2nd person plural wir, it is like a suggestion meaning “Let’s ~” Gehen wir tanzen! Let’s go dancing! Trinken wir auf eurem Wohl! Let’s drink to your health! Hören wir gut zu. Let’s listen closely.
