Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) - System Ein RFID-System besteht aus RFID Tag (mit einer weltweit eindeutigen Seriennummer) Active Tags Passive Tags RFID Lesegerät RFID Middleware (Hardware- und Software) RFID Backend zur Verarbeitung der Informationen Einführung RFID: Hansen /Neumann, Wirtschaftsinformatik 2, 9. Auflage, Hanser Verlag, UTB Taschenbücher, Lucius & Lucius, Stuttgart 2005, S. 171 ff. 10.04.2017 prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Elektronische Etiketten Kontaktloses Lesen über Funk in unterschied-lichen Frequenzbereichen (cm…ca. 30…100 m) RFID Etikett (Tag) besteht aus Träger, Gehäuse Antenne Analoger Schaltkreis zum Senden und Empfangen (Transponder, Transmitter/Responder) Datenspeicher (im einfachsten Fall 1 Bit) Prozessor (von Neumann Architektur, Prozessorbefehlsatz, Zusatzkomponenten wie GPS, Temperaturfühler, … Kryptographische Komponenten 10.04.2017 prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de

prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de MC9090-G RFID Handheld Mobile Computer Motorola's MC9090-G RFID handheld reader gives your workers the ability to capture a comprehensive range of data — from RFID tags and bar codes to images — with this flexible multi-function RFID handheld reader, which reads data in remote areas where fixed RFID readers can't reach. Single device simplicity translates into simpler and cost-effective mobility architecture with fewer devices to purchase, support, and manage. And whether your workers are on the manufacturing floor, in the warehouse, on the loading dock or out in the yard, the rugged design ensures reliable performance http://www.motorola.com/business/US-EN/MC9090-G_RFID_US-EN.do?vgnextoid=b4ee98ee03ef5110VgnVCM1000008406b00aRCRD 10.04.2017 prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de

prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de RFID Beispiele, GAO Tracking and Locating Made Easier Once Wal-Mart and the Department of Defense (DoD) identified RFID as a potential cost reduction technology many companies began to use RFID to track product flow. RFID is being used to identify inbound and outbound product. RFID is being used in the warehouse to locate product. It is being used in manufacturing and processing industries to track and locate WIP (Work in Progress) and finished goods. RFID is being used to monitor and track product in transit, and RFID is being used to ensure store shelves are replenished. GAO RFID understands that the Supply Chain requires more than one type of RFID technology to satisfy all these different requirements and has developed different solutions for tracking as well locating. 10.04.2017 prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de

prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de RFID Beispiele, GAO Passive Tracking Solutions (PTS) GAO RFID has a full compliment of EPC GEN 2 compliant solutions. GAO RFID’s software, readers, tags and printers are designed for use in the supply chain. LocateWare™ is a universal RFID reader software designed to facilitate the tracking and movement of goods in and out of a facility and between zones. GAO also has full range of RFID readers which include the GenTop™, a desktop RFID reader that can read/write one tag at a time to versatile handheld terminals for portable operation to the RFID industry’s number one fixed reader as per a recent study by ODIN technologies. When it comes to RFID tags, GAO RFID has access to all major RFID inlay providers and converters. These relationships help us keep our tag cost down and the quality high. 10.04.2017 prof. dr. dieter steinmann d.steinmann@fh-trier.de
