SPORT IN ITALY

Einleitung - Introduction Auch in Italien werden verschiedene Sportarten betrieben. Hier in der Umgebung von Treviso werden am häufigsten ausgeübt: Volleyball, Schwimmen, Fußball und Basketball Im Moment haben wir je eine gute Volleyball- und Fußballmannschaft: Sisley und die Fußballmannschaft von Treviso. Auch Schwimmen und Basketball sind sehr populär, aber wir haben in diesen Sportarten keine guten Mannschaften. In Italy there are many different sports. Here, in the area near Treviso, the most popular sports are: volleyball, swim, football and basketball. In fact we have two great teams of volleyball and football: Sisley and Treviso football team. Also swim and basketball are very popular but we haven’t got great teams of those sports.

BENETTON BASKET TREVISO Founded in 1954, in 1961 the first appeareance in A division. Treviso is sold to the Benetton family and Gianni Furlan is the first president. The Palaverde becomes the home of the Club that, for a few years, goes up and down from A1 to A2 and viceversa. Their biggest succes were, that they had win 4 times the Italian Championship, 7 times the Italian Cup, 2 times the Eurocup and 3 times the Italian Supercup. Das Team wurde 1945 gegründet, 1961 stiegen sie in die A division auf. Treviso wurde an die Benetton Familie verkauft und Gianni Furlan war der erste Präsident des Teams. Das Palaverde wurde das Haus des Clubs für ein paar Jahre. Sie stiegen immer wieder ab in die A2, aber stiegen dann auch wieder auf in die A1. Ihre größten Erfolge waren: 4 mal Italienischer Meister 7 mal den Italienischen Pokal 2 mal den Europapokal 3 mal den Italienischen Superpokal

SISLEY VOLLEY TREVISO Das großartige Volleyballteam kam im September 1987 nach Treviso. Dafür danken wir der Benetton Familie, die ein weiteres Ereignis für die Leute in Treviso brache, nach dem Benetton Basketballteam. Ihre größten Erfolge waren: Gewinn der italienischen Meisterschaft, 4 mal ital. Pokalsieger, 3 mal Meisterschale, 2 mal den Europa Supercup, 5 mal den italienischen Supercup und 1 mal gewannen sie den Cupwinners Cup. The great volleyball came to Treviso in September 1987, thanks to Benetton family which created another team and another passion for the people in Treviso, after Benetton Basket. Their biggest succes were, that they had win 8 times the Italian Championship, 4 times the Italia Cup, 3 times the Champions cup, 2 times the Europe Supercup, 5 times the Italian Supercup and 1 times the Cupwinnwer’s Cup.

Letztes Jahr haben sie die Italienischen Meisterschaften gewonnen. Im Oktober kamen sie in unsere Schule um über ihre Mannschaft und ihre Beziehung zwischen den Spielen und den Fans zu reden. Es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung, da wir am Ende die Möglichkeit hatten unsere Idole zu sehen. The last year they had win the Italian Championship. In October they came to our school to talk about the team, their relationship between the other player and the fans. It was a great experience, because at least we had the possibility to see our idles.

THE PALAVERDE

The Palaverde was built in 1983 and inaugurated in September of the same year. With a seating capacity of 6000 the Palaverde is only five kilometers from the historical center of Treviso. It is a multi-use facility capable of hosting musical concerts, sport events and cultural festivals. Das Palaverde wurde 1983 gebaut und eröffnete im September des selben Jahres. Mit einem Fassungsvermögen von 6000 Plätzen liegt das Palaverde nur fünf Kilometer von der historischen Mitte von Treviso entfernt. Die Halle kann für verschiedene Anlässe benutzt werden, wie z.B. Musicals oder Sport- und Kulturevents.

Für Basketball bietet das Palaverde etwas Besonderes an: Die Spiele werden auf Parkett gespielt. Des weiteren gibt es die üblichen Erste-Hilfe-Räume, einen Therapieraum, einen Drogentestraum und schließlich den Steuerraum für die vier Maxischirmvideos an jeder Ecke des Palaverdes. Der Pressebereich hat einige Faxgeräte, einige Telefone und Fernsehen sowie einen Interviewraum. Schließlich gibt es Parkplätze für über 3000 Autos. For basketball, the Palaverde offers a particular quality: the games are played on a parquet. Aside from this unique court, there are the usual first aid rooms, a physical therapy room, a drug testing room and finally the control room for the four maxi-screen videos at each corner of the court. The press room has fax, telephones, telex and televisions as well as an interview room close. Finally, there are large parking areas for over 3000 cars.

TREVISO’S FUßBALLMANNSCHAFT TREVISO’S SOCCERTEAM

Treviso Foot-Ball Club 1993 is a football club based in Treviso, Italy Treviso Foot-Ball Club 1993 is a football club based in Treviso, Italy. The club was formed in 1909 and plays in Italian Serie A in 2005-06 season for the first time since its foundation. The team's colors are light blue and white. In August 2005, after the sentence of relegation from Serie A for both Genoa and Torino because respectively of fraud and financial troubles, Treviso have been arbitrarily promoted in Serie A as replacement. Der Fußballklub Treviso 1993 ist ein Fußballteam aus Treviso, Italien. Der Verein wurde 1909 gegründet und spielt in der Saison 2005-06 zum ersten Mal in der Vereinsgeschichte in der Italienischen Seria A. Die Vereinsfarben sind hellblau und weiß. Nach dem Rückzug aus der Relegation von Genoa und Torina aufgrund finanzieller Probleme, stieg Treviso als Nachrücker in die Seria A auf.

In der ersten Seria A Saison von Treviso musste Treviso seine ersten Heimspiele in der Stadt Pedua im “Stadio Euganeo” austragen, da das eigene Stadion die Sicherheits- und Kapazitätsvoraussetzungen der FIGC nicht erfüllte. Allerdings wurde eine spezielle Genehmigung von der Italienischen Regierung erteilt, sodass Treviso seine Heimspiele im eigenen Stadion austragen darf. DER GHIRADA – THE GHIRADA

Just outside Treviso, the Ghirada Complex - "Sport City" was built in 1985 by the Benetton Group and is open to anyone who wants to take part in a sporting or a leisure activities. Three gyms, six rugby pitches covering 60,000 square metres football and five-a-side pitches, a cross country circuit, a fitness circuit, three indoor basketball and volleyball courts, a brand new beach volley area, a golf practice area, a swimming pool and many other facilities.The Ghirada has got at lot of facilities: the main meeting room can seat 120 people and it is full equipped for any need. The Ghirada also features comfortable guest quarters for the youngsters involved in the basketball, volleyball and rugby programs. Der Ghirada Komplex –”Sport City” liegt außerhalb von Treviso. Der Komplex wurde 1985 von der Benetton Gruppe erbaut und ist für alle, die an den Sport- und Freizeitaktivitäten teilnehmen wollen. Zu diesem Center gehören drei Sporthallen, sechs Rugbyfelder, ein Fußballfeld, ein Fitnesscenter, drei Basketball- und Volleyballfelder, eine neue Beachvolleyballanlage, eine übungsgolfanlage, ein Schwimmbad und viele andere Möglichkeiten. Der Sitzungsraum von Ghirada bietet 120 Personen Platz und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ghirada hat komfortable Gästequartiere für die, die an den Basketball-, Volleyball und Rugbyprogrammen teilnehmen

Vor kurzem öffnete das neue Fast Food Restaurant “Spizzico” und außerdem noch das italienische Restaurant “Peroni Musik Cafe”. Weiterhin gibt es einen Pavillion mit 500 Plätzen für Treffen, Konferenzen und Partys. Im Ghirada kann man im Fanshop alle Trikots und andere Dinge kaufen, die vom Benetton Basket-, Volleyball- & Rugbyteam sind. Eintrittskarten für Konzerte und Spiele in Palverde sind ebenfalls zu erwerben. Auch ein auf Knie-,Ellbogen-, Schulterbehandlung und Muskeln spezialisiertes Reha Zentrum ist im Ghadirada zu finden. In the Ghirada you will also discover in the fan shop, a store where you can find all the Playlife's clothes and articles associated with the Benetton Basket, Volley & Rugby teams and where you can buy tickets for concerts and games at Palaverde. There is also a rehabilitation centre, specialising in knee, elbow and shoulder treatment and muscle development.

LEISURE TIME - FREIZEIT The majority of the Italian people use their free time like in Germany: they listen to the music, go shopping, watch tv, do sports, go to the cinema, to a museum or to a disco, read a book, go out with friends… Die meisten Leute in Italien verbringen ihre Freizeit wie die in Deutschland: Sie hören Musik, gehen shoppen, gucken Tv, machen Sport, gehen ins Kino, gehen in ein Museum oder in eine Disco, lesen ein Buch, gehen mit Freunden weg…
