2 Im Restaurant An actual restaurant is the chance to use more formal ordering. “Ich hätte gern eine Pizza.” “Ich möchte eine Cola.”

3 Im Café Same goes for a Café. „Ich hätte gern ein Stück Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, bitte.“

4 Eis Here is what you need to decide:  What type of Eis  One or two scoops?  If two: together in one cone or in two separate cones?  Finally, cone or cup?

11 Ordering! Now that you know the basics, you‘re ready to order!!

12 Goes something like this Dönermann (DM): Für sie? Du: Ich hätte gern einen Döner. DM: Soße? Knoblauch, bitte. DM: Mit allem? (talking about the Gemüse) Du: Ohne Zwiebeln, bitte. DM: Hier essen oder zum Mitnehmen? Du: Hier essen. DM: Noch ‘was dazu? Du: Ja, eine Fanta, bitte.
