Die Weihnachtsgeschichte

Wenn ihr diese Wörter hört: Kind, Bethlehem, Engel, Stern – macht eine Gestik. Für den Esel macht “I-ah, i-ah“ Für den Ochsen (die Kuh) macht “Muh, muh” Für die Schafe macht “Bäh, bäh”

Maria und Josef gehen nach Bethlehem. Es ist eine lange Reise. Sie sind sehr müde. Maria reitet auf einem Esel. Sie erwartet ein Kind. Als sie in Bethlehem ankommen, gehen sie zu den Herbergen: “Klopf, klopf ... . “Wir haben keinen Platz! “ “Klopf, klopf... " “Wir haben keinen Platz!”

Endlich finden sie einen Stall voll mit Tieren: einige Schafe, ein Ochse und ein Esel. Am 24.Dezember, um Mitternacht wird das Kind geboren. Maria wickelt das Kind in Windeln und legt es in eine Krippe. Es ist Nacht und sehr kalt. Es gibt viele Sterne am Himmel, aber es gibt einen Stern, der leuchtet mehr als die anderen.

Auf dem Feld vor Bethlehem hüten Hirten Schafe. Ein Engel sagt zu den Hirten: “Ein Kind wurde in Bethlehem geboren. Das Kind heißt Jesus. Geht das Kind ansehen! Folgt dem Stern!".

Die Hirten folgen dem Stern und kommen am Stall an. Sie finden Maria, Josef und das Kind Jesus umgeben von dem Ochsen, dem Esel und den Schafen. Alle singen: “Ehre sei Gott in der Höhe und Frieden auf Erden.” ENDE

Mary and Joseph are on their way to Bethlehem. It’s a long trip. They are very tired. Mary is travelling on a donkey. She is going to have a baby. When they arrive in Bethlehem, they knock at the door of every inn. “Knock Knock Knock … No space!”

“The Divine child is born , Finally, they find a stable with a lot of animals inside: sheep, a cow and a donkey. On 24th December at midnight, the baby is born. All the animals, the sheep, the cow and the donkey look at the baby and sing: “The Divine child is born , Play your oboes, get your bagpipes sounding. The Divine child is born, Let’s all sing his nativity.”

In the fields around Bethlehem, there are some shepherds and their sheep. It’s night-time and it’s really cold… there are a lot of stars in the sky, but there is one big star which shines brighter than the others. And, look: here is an angel saying to the shepherds: “ A baby is born in Bethlehem. He is baby Jesus. Come and see baby Jesus ! Follow the star.”

“ Sweet night, Holy night”. The shepherds follow the star and arrive at the stable. They see Mary, Joseph and Jesus, surrounded by the sheep, a donkey and a cow. They are all singing : “ Sweet night, Holy night”. The end.
