Sankt Nikolaus St. Nicholas Day is celebrated on 6th December.
This is a favourite holiday of children, as it is a gift giving day. St. Nicholas is known as the Saint of Children.

Der 6. Dezember On 5th December in the evening children leave their shoes outside for St. Nicholas. When they wake on 6th December, their shoes are filled with toys and treats.
