Neubau Flughafen „Sá Carneiro“ in Porto PORTUGAL Aufgabe: Portugal hatte beschlossen in Porto, der zweitgrößten Stadt des Landes, den bestehenden Flughafen zur anstehenden Fußball Europameisterschaft 2004 komplett zu renovieren. In einer möglichst kurzen Bauzeit sollte der modernste Flughafen Europas „Sá Carneiro“ fertig gestellt werden. Die eindringliche architektonische Bauweise erforderte eine flexible Lösung der Infrastruktur. Hauptsächlich die Sammlung der verschiedenen Abwässer des verzweigten Gebäudes galt es zu lösen. Infolge von steigenden Wasserpreisen und zunehmender Wasserknappheit im Süden Europas, sollte der Flughafen ein Vorzeigeprojekt für moderne und saubere Sanitäranlagen mit Wasserspartechnik werden. Lösung: Vom Bauherrn ANA Aeroportos de Portugal sowie vom zuständigen Ingenieurbüro wurden Roediger Vacuum und Ihr Portugiesischer Partner Passavante Portuguesa gebeten, die Entsorgung des gesamten Abwassers in dem komplexen Gebäude mittels RoeVac® Vakuum Sanitärtechnik zu realisieren. Die Vakuumtechnik ermöglichte eine sehr flexible Leitungsverlegung mit bis zu 4 m hohen, vertikalen Liftleitungen. Wesentlich kleinere Rohrdimensionen, geringere Kernbohrungen bzw. der Wegfall von Deckendurchbrüchen und die Möglichkeit der enormen Reduzierung des Spülwasserverbrauchs durch den Einsatz von Vakuumtoiletten führten zur Inbetrieb-nahme des Vakuumsystems im Herbst 2005. Besonderheiten: Die tägliche Frischwassereinsparung wurde durch die RoeVac® Vakuumtoiletten aus Porzellan bzw. aus Edelstahl in den öffent-lichen Bereichen erreicht. Durch die Spülung mit nur 1 Liter gegenüber 8-10 Litern für herkömmliche Toiletten ist die Einsparung von Frischwasser sehr hoch. Im gleichen Maße wurde auch die Abwassermenge reduziert ! Grauwasser und Schwarzwasser werden in ein und demselben Rohrleitungsnetz gesammelt und transportiert. Airport “Sá Carneiro” New Building in Porto PORTUGAL Task: Envisaging the European Football Championship 2004, Portugal decided to completely renew its existent airport in the second largest city of the country, at Porto. The new airport Sá Carneiro has been designed to become one of Europe’s most modern airports and the construction time should be minimized. A keen architectonic design demands for a flexible solution on the infrastructure, especially when it is referred to the collection of the different wastewaters from a complex building. Due to increasing water prices and scarcities in Southern Europe, the airport of Sá Carneiro should become a showcase for a modern and clean sanitation with water savings. Solution: Roediger Vacuum and their partner Passavante Portuguesa were engaged by the investor ANA Aeroportos de Portugal and the consultant of the project to realize the evacuation of all the wastewater in this complex building structure by means of a RoeVac® vacuum sanitation system. Due to a flexible pipe construction with up to 4 metres vertical lifts, reduced pipes, less concrete perforations and finally due to the significant saving of fresh water at the vacuum toilets the system was commissioned in autumn 2005. Specials: The daily water saving in the airport is reached by RoeVac® vacuum toilets made of sanitary china and stainless steel in the public areas. As each toilet flushes with only 1 litre compared to a conventional toilet (8-10 litres), the daily water saving in the whole airport is enormous. In the same way also the volume of wastewater is reduced ! Grey water and black water are collected in one single vacuum pipe network.
