Provides corrections Extends platform support Is delivered on a component base (e.g. MDM GUI Clients) Hot Fix? Contains urgent corrections (typically) for a single module (e.g. MDM Import Manager) For delivery the file of the complete component is updated with the new module Build Number? Used SAP internally for the production process and code maintenance. * Old SPs remain until full platform support is provided for the new SP
