2 Some verbs like ‘gehen’ totally do their own thing and have the conjugated form of ‘sein’ (to be) + PAST PARTICIPLE

5 Verbs that take ‘sein’ instead of ‘haben’ are usually verbs that express movement, e.g. going or travelling from A to B Verbs showing a change of state also take ‘sein’ A big exception is the verb ‘bleiben’ (to stay) which also takes ‘sein’ (to be)

6 Irregular verbs using ‘sein’
Wir sind nach Hause gefahren Ich bin spät nach Hause gekommen moving from A to B Sie ist früh aufgewacht change of state – from being asleep to waking up Ich bin zu Hause geblieben big exception!
