Kazakov 3 Big problems in physics If it is not dark, it does not matter Cosmologists: you particle physicists can explain us only 4% of the energy of the Universe Idea: Dark energy are quantum fluctuations in vacuum, like Higgs fields. Problem: measured value 120 orders of magnitude smaller than calculated. Exact SUSY has zero DE, but SUSY broken. Still many orders too large DE in broken SUSY Idea: Dark matter is supersymmetric partner of CMB (basically Spin ½ Photon) Problem: experimentally DM particles not yet established. Many experiments in progress: space experiments, underground experiments, LHC
