Review of Verb Tense Verbs are used in different tenses
To determine which tense is being used, ask: Is this happening now or in the very near future? Did this happen in the past? Is this being written? Is this being spoken? Is this going to happen in the distant future?

Ich mag = I like Ich mag….nicht ODER Ich mag kein….
