Lange Aufnahmen mit kleinen Dateien, da DSS die Daten hoch komprimiert. 2. Kann zusätzliche Informationen zugeordnet zu Diktaten im Datei Header beinhalten. 3. Für einfaches Überschreiben und punktgenaues Editieren werden die Daten in kleinen Blöcken geschrieben (z.B. Teillöschen, Einfügen). 4. Gemeinschaftsentwicklung von PHILIPS, OLYMPUS, und GRUNDIG stellt die Datenkompatibilität auf lange Zeit sicher.

I want to mark a voice report with the correct work type, for example final or letter. This allows the workflow to be efficient & smooth. The solution: Philips DPM 9450 with Voice command offers a convenient & fast way of assigning up to 20 different work types to any voice report. It is fast and reliable. How does it work? Philips DPM Voice Command identifies the authors speech and thus automatically assigns the correct work type - simply by speaking it out. For verification the display will show the recognised work type with in big letters. I do not want to carry an extra power supply for recharging my device when travelling! – Lawyer, Toronto The solution: Philips DPM 9450 not only runs on the USB power supplied but also charges up the batteries LFH9144 when connected to a PC or Notebook.* How does it work? A charging current of ~30mA is being delivered from the USB socket through a standard mini USB cable and fed to the DPM 9450 to recharge the LFH9144 batteries. It was so handy to hear the record ready beep confirmation with the old machine - I always knew when to start with my dictation - today´s mobile dictation products don´t offer this function any more. – Lawyer, Toronto The solution: On the Philips DPMs this audible confirmation can be activated. A beep tone is generated every time the user moves the 4-position switch to record. How does it work? This feature can be enabled/disabled via the V2.1 download & configuration software. For details read the following procedure: Creating & configuring the Silent Installer setup Step1. Copy the content of the DPM Download/Configuration Software CD to a shared network folder you have access to from every workstation where you want to install the DPM Software. Step2. Define a command line to be used on multiple workstations to install the DPM2 software. No license key will have to be entered. The files will be copied to the folder: C:\Program Files\Philips Speech\DPM 2.0 The DPM Control and the DPM Download/Configuration application will be installed. The user interface of the DPM Download/Configuration application will be English. For details see the help file on the DPM DL/CF Software CD under folder...\Tools\DPM Download Configuration\CommandLineSetup.chm. Store this command line parameters in the network folder defined in Step 1 as a *.BAT file. Step 3. From each PC you wish to perform the installation on, login with administrator rights, access the shared network folder and run (double click) the defined *.BAT file. Save the configuration file as *.INI in the network folder defined in Step 1. DPM Device Hardware Rollout (works with LFH9220, 9250, 9350, 9400, 9450, 9750) On each PC workstation running DPM Download/Configuration Software (Step 3) connect a DPM device after the Software has been installed and let Windows install the DPM drivers. Import the Configuration file *.INI defined before (by selecting File | Import Configuration File) and transfer the settings to the DPM device by selecting the Menu Settings | Transfer Settings to DPM. · Configure all workstations and all DPM devices as described. · Be sure that Load device settings automatically is deactivated on all DPM devices. Adjust user dependent settings like Email Options on every workstation. For the advanced user: A truly silent install would be no interface only the batch window. The MSI should be launched with either /qb (quiet with limited user screens) or /qn (no interface at all) In The case of /qn, the batch file would be required to react to the returned error code of the msiexec.exe installation. I need to install latest firmware on all DPMs without having to: collect each single one from the user upload the firmware one by one deliver the updated DPM to each user again. A support tool has been made available on www.philips.com/dictation > support centre > service > loginwww.philips.com/dictation How does it work? By means of the new firmware upgrade utility the IT administrator can deploy latest firmware files through the PC net to each single DPM – without having to disturb the end user. The DPM automatically updates the firmware and the user will see update please wait for some seconds on the LC-Display. *Available for all DPMs running on firmware 2.30 or higher.
