17 Summary Every 5th patient shows a comorbidity of hypertension and hyperlipidemia These conditions are frequently combined with cardiovascular disease The comorbidity of Diabetes and cardiovascular disease was found in only 6.75% of patients Almost 2/3 of all patients in General Practice have either cardiovascular disease, hypertension or hyperlipidemia

18 Summary 2 of 3 patients were female More than 50% have a partner 30% of patients smoke regularely or on and off GP is consulted once per month, specialists and hospital rather seldom Approximately 70% take drugs regularely- in most cases 1-3 different medications
