Partner Regions 2013 Launched in 2004 with three PARTNER REGIONS the competition has grown into a network of innovation and expertise of more than 20 global partner regions. Application Fields 2012 The spectrum of submitted business ideas reflects the manifold opportunities made possible by this future-oriented technology: from healthcare and leisure to traffic management and other rail, sea, and air transport logistics, individuals and entire industries alike can benefit from satellite navigation. Prize Pool Become the GALILEO MASTER get EUR 20,000 The prize pool of the ESNC 2013 has a total value of about EUR 1 million It includes cash prizes, business incubation, coaching, patent consulting, prototyping and marketing support, access to customers and user communities, and publicity in the world‘s leading satellite navigation network. Timeline 2013 The IDEAS DATABASE will be open for submission from 1 April to 30 June. Please note: You can edit your entry at any time until the closing of the database. All complete submissions (100% submission status) will be automatically submitted after closing of the database. The ESNC INTERNATIONAL KICK-OFF event will be held on 25 April in line with the European Navigation Conference (ENC) in Vienna/Austria. Conclusion Since 2004 the ESNC is an exceptional source of innovation with … more than 6,000 participants almost 2,000 submitted ideas 171 awarded winners more than 60 partners worldwide With almost 80% of all awarded ideas having already been realised or being currently under development (study 2004 – 2010) , the ESNC can boast a proven track record of success in fostering international networks and supporting the development of a future market.
