LITER A RTURE Combining the artsuniting the senses

The aims of this project: to celebrate creativity to encourage hands-on experiences to bridge the arts to link different cultures Click twice on mouse left button for next slide

At the end of the project, each school will have a wall on which the students will exhibit the 18 different plates created by the students from the 4 different countries participating in the project. An internet presentation of all the 18 plates will make the project results accessible for a wide range of institutions. The plates will carry short poems, short stories and embellishing drawings. The students will work together thus creating a unique work; the fruit of a collaborative effort.

1st year of the project 6 plates created by the students assisted by teachers of Art Biology History Literature National Language Geography and English Theme 1: Art & Design - 2 plates Designs from historic or archaeological artefacts Theme 2: Literature - 2 plates Poetry and prose by the National Poet and their translations in English Theme 3: Ecology and Economy - 2 plates A natural North-South section from the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean.

2nd year of the project 6 plates created by the students assisted by teachers of Music Biology National Language History Home Economics Textile Studies Geography Theme 4: National Music - 1 plate Music score of a traditional folk tune Theme 5: Cuisine - 2 plates Traditional dishes - soup, main course and sweet Theme 6: Drapes of Time - 1 plate Traditional textile craft Theme 7: Inspirations from Nature - 2 plates Art and literature inspired by the environment
