To form the passive you always need to use a form of the verb werden With the past participle of the main verb

If you want to change the tense, you have to change the form of werden NOT The past participle which Stays the same in all tenses !

Passive in the present tense: Active: I eat the big delicious chocolate cake The big delicious chocolate cake is eaten by me. passive Auf Deutsch: Ich esse den grossen leckeren Schokoladenkuchen Der grosse leckere Schokoladenkuchen wird von mir gegessen Activ: Passiv: Now try Schaum pg 213 ex 132
