How it began… Nena was born in Hage (Germany). She had her first performances and songs and the end of the 1970s.
1982-1987 Nena‘s breakthrough Nenas breakthrough is the beginning of „Die neue deutsche Welle“. It was a German kind of music that contained elements of punk, pop, rock and New-Wave. Listening to German music became fashionable among young people. Nena published four CDs at that time.
In 1989 she started her solo career. Now she sang songs for children. In 1994 she began a TV career for a few months. She had her unexpectedly comeback in 2002. Even today she is famous.
