Ein wichtiger Moment in der Geschichte der Schule war ein Wahl des Namens. Von Anfang an diskutierten darüber die Lehrer, Schüler und Eltern und jeder hatte eigenen Vorschlag. Man suchte Kandidaten unter den Athleten, historischen und literarischen Figuren. In einer Volksabstimmung am 11. Januar 2006 trafen die Schüler, Eltern und Lehrer die Entscheidung, dass das Gymnasium Nr. 3 in Olawa den Namen den polnischen Nobelpreisträgern bekam. An important moment in the history of the facility was a process of the choosing patron. Since the beginning there was a lively discussion among teachers, pupils and parents on choosing a name. Candidates were among athletes, historical figures and literary importance to Poland and world. AktionenActions Das bunte Kissen für die Kleinen-Die Schüler sammeln in der Schule das Geld. Sie verkaufen z.B. Kuchen, den sie selbst gebacken haben.Dann kauft man das bunte Material. Das Material wird geteilt und die Schüler nehmen es nach Hause. Dann nähen sie gemeinsam mit der Familie das bunte Bettzeug. Alles wird am Heiligabend zum Janusz Kroczak Krankenhaus abgegeben. Die Felder der Hoffnung -die Schüler sammeln die Blumenzwiebeln (Narzisse- ein Symbol der Hoffnung) und im Oktober pflanzen sie die Zwiebeln. Dann im Frühling verkaufen sie die Blumen und das Geld bekommt das Hospiz in Ohlau.
