How do you think you form the comparative in German? Mein Vater ist intelligenter als meine Mutter. Mein Grossvater ist grösser als meine Schwester. Meine Schwester ist kleiner als ich.

In German, you have to add er to the end of the adjective e.g kleiner And als (than) after, e.g kleiner als Just as, in English, you might say bigger than, in German they say bigger than.
