EUREKA Project Funding The funding for EUREKA projects is mostly provided by the „FFG General Programme“. It‘s a bottom-up funding programme for experimental development projects and allows submissions at any time. Funding decisions are taken 7x/year in a non- competitive procedure. Eurostars-2 is well supported in Austria, 3.5 Mio. € from the BMWFW (+EU funding) are available per year. Danube Region Project Example Eurostars-Project E!8213 TRIPLE-S Microscope “Combined Scanning Electron-, Scanning Ion- and High-Speed Scanning Atomic Force Microscope” Austria (2 SME), Bulgaria (1 SME), Switzerland (Res.I.)
