DIN designation, SIMOREG The simplest way of identifying the drive unit data is using the DIN designation on the rating plate of the old drive unit Exxx/yyy: E: Drive unit for connection to a 1-phase supply, xxx: Output rated DC voltage yyy: Rated output DC current The maximum possible DC output voltage Vdmax depends on the input voltage available and is given by: Vline supply * 0.8 for 1Q and Vline supply * 0.65 for 4Q (valid for 5% line supply undervoltage and 4% voltage drop across the commutating reactor) Dxxx/yyy: D: Drive unit for connection to a 3-phase supply The maximum possible DC output voltage Vdmax depends on the input voltage available and is given by :Vdmax = Vline supply * 1.2 for 1Q and Vline supply * 1.05 for 4Q
