You use the future tense when you are talking about something that....ill happen is going to happen.

The future tense in German is easy peasy lemon squeezy to form:

I eat vegetables= Ich esse Gemüse I will eat vegetables= Ich werde Gemüse essen. So in the future tense we use the same verb but we move it to the end and change it to its infinitive form (en on the end!). We also need a new auxiliary (helping verb) to complete the sentence – this is the verb WERDEN.

Ich werde Ich werde Apfelsaft trinken. Can you work out how to form the future tense?

Ich werde Kuchen essen. Ich werde

Ich werde Schokolade kaufen. Ich werde

Ich werde in ein italienisches Restaurant gehen.

Ich werde.....

Ich werde Orangensaft trinken. I will drink orange juice.

Ich werde..... Ich werde Pommes essen. I will eat chips.

Ich werde..... Ich werde Tee trinken. I will drink tea.

Ich werde..... Ich werde Gemüse essen. I will eat vegetables.

Ich werde..... Ich werde Karotten kaufen. I will buy carrots.
