Die in Deutschland abgebauten Rohstoffe (Spezialtone, Kaolin, Quarzsand, Feldspäte) zählen zu den besten weltweit und sind von enormer ökonomischer Bedeutung. The raw materials mined in Germany (special clays, kaolin, silica sand, feldspar) stand out for their high quality throughout the world and are of enormous economic importance.

Sie werden verwendet zur Herstellung von baukeramischen Produkten aller Art sowie technischer Keramik. Diese High-Tech-Produkte aus allen Bereichen sind heute aus unserem Alltag nicht mehr wegzudenken. They are used for the production of traditional ceramics of all kinds an for technical ceramics. These high-tech products from all sectors have become so important that one could not imagine everyday life without them.

Innovative Herstellungsmethoden lassen heute neben den traditionellen Einsatzgebieten immer wieder neue entstehen. Innovative production methods nowadays lead to the creation of completely new fields of application in addition to the traditional sectors.

Hinzu kommen Rohstoffe, die weltweit vorkommen und starken Preisschwankungen unterliegen. In addition there are raw materials which can be found all over the world and which are subject to considerable price fluctuations.
