4.1 Lektion 4 Wegfahren und Spaß haben STRUKTUREN © and ® 2012 Vista Higher Learning, Inc Das Futur To talk about something that will happen in the distant future, use the Futur I, which is formed by using the correct form of werden with an infinitive. By itself, werden means to become, to get, but when it is combined with the infinitive of another verb, it forms the future tense. In this context, it is generally translated as will (will go, will stay, etc.). Nächstes Jahr werde ich nach Berlin fahren. Next year I will travel to Berlin. Er wird in einer Jugendherberge übernachten. He will stay in a youth hostel.
