The 24th December After the Christmas tree was decorated pepole prepare the presents and dress up. A lot go to church to listen to a concert or to see a nativity play (Krippenspiel) that shows the story of Jesus‘ birth.

In the evening of the 24 December you get the presents. A Chrismas tree stands in the living room and Santa Claus puts the presents under it secretly.

In some houses Santa Claus in person comes and brings the presents to the kids. Then they have to sing a song or tell a poem to get the presents. If the kids had not been nice Santa Clause could beat them with a stick, but he doesn‘t usually do that.

What does Santa Claus do ? Actually there is no Santa Claus but parents tell their children that he exsists and that they have to behave all the year until Christmas to get Christmas presents.

Where did Santa Claus come from ??? Originally the appearance of Santa Claus was known only in Europe. Coca Cola used the character for promotion and made it famous all over the world. How How !!!!!!! gedichte24.de/Weihnach tsmann-Bild29.gif
