Dr. Arnold Hilgers, European Institute of Molecular Medicine (EURIMM), Maastricht, Holland (a venture of Sanoplan)  Für die klassische Medizin liegt chronischen Erkrankungen entweder ein psychischer oder organischer Ursprung zugrunde. Entsprechend den Symptomen sind für chronisch erkrankte Patienten zumindest ein, wenn nicht sogar mehrere Fachärzte zuständig. Doch in vielen Fällen liegt die Ursache gar nicht im erkrankten Organ selbst, sondern auf der molekulargenetischen Ebene. Derartige Kommunikationsfehler führen zu einer Störung der Immunbalance mit den unterschiedlichsten (chronischen) Beschwerdebildern.  Der Therapieansatz der klassischen Medizin basiert auf der symptombezogenen Behandlung - für chronisch kranke Patienten bedeutet das in der Regel lebenslange Therapie ohne Heilung. Zwanzig Prozent der Bevölkerung leiden an Gesundheitsstörungen, für die Fachärzte trotz des medizinischen Fortschritts keine organische Ursache finden. Für die Patienten beginnt eine belastende Arzt- und Krankenhausodyssee, oft verbunden mit dem Stigma der psychisch Kranken.  Seit 1984 haben wir das Immunsystem über 10.000 chronisch Erkrankter (z. B. Autoimmunerkrankungen, Colitis Ulcerosa, Morbus Crohn, Rheuma, Multiple Sklerose, Hashimoto, Basedow, chronische Herz-, Gefäß- und Nervenerkrankungen, chronische Atemwegserkrankungen, Fibromyalgie, CFIDS, Hyperkinetisches Syndrom, Depressionen, Angst, Panikattacken etc.) unter dem neuen Paradigma der gestörten Information systematisch untersucht. Dabei stellte sich heraus, daß in praktisch allen Fällen eine Störung der Immunbalance vorlag. Diese Störung der Immunfunktion war fast immer mit Symptomen wie Erschöpfung, Konzentrationsschwäche, Gedächtnisstörungen, Stimmungsschwankungen und Depressionen assoziiert. Zur Abgrenzung der Hypothese der klassischen Medizin, nach der es 30.000 Erkrankungen gibt, haben wir für Patienten ohne gesicherte Organerkrankung folgenden Krankheitsbegriff gewählt: CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue Immundysfunction Syndrom). 3 Page  3 Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS)  Um die Ursache der Immundysfunktion herauszufinden, suchten wir (die EURIMM-Wissenschaftler) mit neu entwickelten Tests zuerst nach infektiösen Ursachen. Ab 1990 erweiterten wir mit neuer Technologie die Suche nach Störfaktoren (Triggerfaktoren) auf Nahrungs-, Umwelt- und Innenraumfaktoren. Die Ergebnisse waren bedeutsam und im Hinblick auf die Therapiechancen revolutionär: Die Beseitigung der Triggerfaktoren führte in vielen Fällen zur Selbstheilung des Immunsystems. Und noch mehr: Sobald die gestörte Immunbalance wieder hergestellt war, besserten sich auch die zahlreichen „organischen” und „psychischen” Beschwerden, die mit CFIDS einhergehen.  Um Patient und Arzt einen sicheren Nachweis zu ermöglichen, ob die „psychischen” und „organischen“ Gesundheitsstörungen möglicherweise eine gemeinsame Ursache in der Störung der Immunbalance haben, entwickelte das EURIMM Team einen standardisierten Fragebogen. Wir haben die weltweit bei chronisch Kranken auftretenden Symptome mit Immunstörungen korreliert und zu einem Katalog mit 30 Kriterien zusammengefaßt. Die Symptome sowie die Häufigkeit ihres Auftretens sind übrigens unabhängig von kulturellen oder geographischen Gegebenheiten. Somit kann die Ursache der meisten chronischen Erkrankungen, ebenso wie die mentalen Begleiterscheinungen, auf eine Störung des Immunsystems zurückgeführt werden, ohne daß verschiedene Fachärzte aufgesucht bzw. schädliche Therapieversuche begonnen werden müßten.  Aus diesen Erkenntnissen folgt zwingend, daß eine „psychosomatische“ Erkrankung eine fehlgeleitete molekulare Information des Immunsystems mit seinem bi-direktionalen Kommunikationsnetzwerk mit dem Gehirn und dem Neuroendokrinen System darstellt. Dieses Modell erklärt auch, weshalb es kaum eine „somatische” Erkrankung ohne mentale Komplikation gibt. Daher führt das neue Paradigma bei chronischen (auch „psychischen”) Erkrankungen direkt zur Wiederherstellung der Immunbalance. Dies geschieht auf der Basis der Beachtung der individuellen genetischen Ausstattung (SNP), Elimination von Umwelt-Triggerfaktoren (Infektionen, Diät, Lebensstil) und individuell angepaßter Modulation der Immunfunktion mit natürlichen Substanzen (z.B. T- und B-Zellprodukten, Antioxidantien, Mineralien, Aminosäuren, Omega-3-Fettsäuren). EURIMM - Venture of Sanoplan

Erstmals ist es möglich, Krankheiten ursächlich, individuell und auf molekularmedizinischer Grundlage zu behandeln. Wir haben das Vorgehen standardisiert - von den Symptomen über die Systemanalyse zur individuellen Therapie - und international publiziert.  Die Neue Medizin basiert ausschließlich auf wissenschaftlich gesicherten Ergebnissen, während es die klassische Medizin diesbezüglich nur auf maximal 4% bringt. Auf Grund der speziellen Situation in Deutschland haben wir diese bahnbrechende Methode in eine internationale Arbeitsgruppe eingebracht, damit wenigstens andere europäische Gesundheitssysteme davon profitieren können.
