3 Projektidee Tag des Sports 2004
Für ältere Menschen sind die Einstiegsbarrieren für neue Bewegungs- und Sportaktivitäten besonders hoch. Um diese eher schwierig zu erreichende Zielgruppe für geeignete Bewegungsangebote zu motivieren, bedarf es der besonderen Berücksichtigung der Lebensbedingungen und Bedürfnisse der älteren Menschen. "Minigolf kommt zu dir" setzt genau an dieser Schnittstelle an und bringt sportliche Aktivitäten in Wiens "Häuser zum Leben". Im Rahmen von Schnupperveranstaltungen stellen speziell geschulte Lehrwart/-innen und Übungsleiter/-innen den Pensionist/-innen in den Häusern vor Ort auf mobilen Indoor-Bahnen die Sportart Minigolf vor. In einem Cup-Bewerb, der abwechselnd in verschiedenen Häusern Wiens angeboten wird, können die älteren Menschen sowohl an Einzelbewerben als auch an Teambewerben zwischen verschiedenen Häusern teilnehmen. Damit sich die älteren Menschen auch außerhalb der Veranstaltungen über die Sportart Minigolf informieren können, wird ein Computer-Lehr-/Lernprogramm erstellt, das den interessierten Pensionist/-innen zunächst präsentiert und dann an zentral zugängigen Computern in den Häusern zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Umrahmt wird dieses Projekt von einer Auftakt- und Abschlussveranstaltung, die sowohl für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit als auch zur Projekt- sowie Ergebnispräsentationen genutzt werden Tag des Sports 2004

There were 40 pupils and youth-groups from all over Austria, who followed the call of the national committee of the European Year of Education through Sports in cooperation with the Austrian Broadcasting and produced video spots. . The 10 best videos were selected by a jury composed of media experts and sport educators. These 10 videos were presented in the internet and the best video was determined through internet voting (probably the victory had less to do with the quality of the video and was more reflective of solidarity of students or school with their video. (These results were not used in the evaluation of data in this study). The main aim of the study was to determine the values which youth present in their video-spots and how they produce different or similar images of physical education and sport in the context of their lifestyle. The analysis of the submitted films and video-documents was conducted in different stages: With the method of ethnographic content analysis, the variety of values the youth put into their video-spots are identified and grouped in to different categories and themes. Additionally the attached screenplay and the storyline of the video (with the producers vision, idea and theme) was useful for the interpretation and identification of the values. In a second stage selected spots are examined through sequence-analysis focusing different didactic categories like teacher/trainer, pupil/athlete and topic. Tag des Sports 2004
