1 Metalworking Fluid STRUB Stabillo Cut (Future Resistant Technology)

2 Why STRUB Metalworking Fluids
STRUB Stabillo Cut - Future Resistant Technology (FRT) coolants- are based on long lasting research and development as well as considerable experience in this field. The unique STRUB Future Resistant Technology series concept provide long term stability, longer tool life and one of these products is free of biocides, thanks to the unique combination of ingredients. Why you need STRUB water-miscible Metalworking Fluids? Higher cutting speed leads to lower production time = Higher Productivity Enhanced tool life leads to fewer tool changes = Lower tooling costs Better surface quality leads to less post-processing = Higher Performance Cooling Flushing Lubricating Strub & Co. 3 Different Generations of water-miscible MWF
A 1500 ml mixing cylinder was filled with 400 ml 6 % emulsion, prepared with tap water (19 °dH = 339 ppm CaCO3). Then pressurised air (0.6 bar) was applied at the bottom of the cylinder. Every 10 s the foam level was determined. After a total of 60 s the pressurised air was turned off and the velocity of the foam break was measured. Strub & Co. AG

11 Corrosion TEST METHOD Aluminium staining:
In an emulsion of 10 %, different aluminium alloys (Al 5083, Al 6082, Al 7075 and Fibral) were tested. Half of the piece was in the emulsion. After 72h the alloys were taken out and evaluated. Cast iron: A 4 % emulsion was put between two circular cast iron GG25 plates (Ø = 50 mm) and evaluated after 72h; 2 g cast iron GG25 chips were put onto a circular cast iron GG25 plate (Ø = 50 mm), 2 ml emulsion (4 %) was applied and evaluated after 72h; 2 g cast iron GG25 chips were put onto a filter paper, 2 ml emulsion (4 %) was applied and evaluated after 72h (DIN / T2) Copper: A sanded and smoothed copper strip was put in a test tube with a 10 % emulsion and put in a heating cabinet for 3 h at 40 °C. Once a week 2 ml contaminated emulsion was added to test the system. Four days after contamination, microbial parameters were determined and seven days after contamination concentration, pH, conductivity and alkalinity were measured. Also, the concentration was adjusted to 6 % before the next inoculation. Strub & Co. AG
