4 Following city pairings are being supported:
Hamburg – Melbourne Planning, data and smart: how to use data to support better urban development, planning processes and decision making (Melbourne provided first draft ideas) Digital community interface and living labs: how we can use these to test ideas, make information about places accessible to community and support community engagement and participation? (Hamburg to provide first draft ideas) Governance arrangements for projects with multiple stakeholders. (Universities interest) EU – Australia Following city pairings are being supported: Melbourne – Hamburg Adelaide – Manchester Hobart – Katowice Canberra – Prague Irgendwo und Irgendwann

Okt 2017: Melbourne in Hamburg & Brüssel März 2018: Abschluss in AUS Expected outcomes: Exchange information about strategies, policies, tools used by both cities Explore opportunities for joint research / projects where there are common challenges or gaps Explore opportunities for joint ventures for developing smart city apps Involve Melbourne in further relevant EU programmes coordinated by the City of Hamburg (H2020, URBACT, etc.) Irgendwo und Irgendwann

Luoyang, Zhuhai, Changzhou, Hefei, Qiongdao, Weihai, Zhzhou, Liuzhou, Guilin, Xixian EU: über 120 Städte Themenfelder: Clean Energy, Compact Urban Development, Green Buildings, Green Industry, Green Transport, Municipal Finance, Solid Waste Management, Urban Renewal, Water Management Wichtiger Hinweis: Bei den Horizon2020-Projekten handelt es sich AUSSCHLIESSLICH um Projekte mit Beteiligung der FHH. Zusätzlich zu den hier gelisteten Projekten haben sich Hamburger Hochschulen, Unternehmen (z.B. Airbus) und Kliniken (UKE) an zahlreichen weiteren Forschungsprojekten in diesem Programm erfolgreich beteiligt. HIER wird ausschließlich auf die sog. „Societal Challenges“ Bezug genommen, die für die Anwesenden von zentralem Interesse sind… Gestern und Heute – Wo stehen wir?
